Bio morph, a two weeks solo exhibition by Shah Noor Shafqat. A showcase of mix media fibre installation. Its about mimicking textures of human skin and its associated emotions in health and disease.

 

Shah Noor’s efforts are inspired by motherhood. Struggling with her daughter’s eczema, she expresses her frustration as a mother unable to protect her offspring from this health threat. As a means to fend off the psychically and physically debilitating aspects of this disease, she utilizes its rough skin textures and rosy tones to produce art in its likeness, inspiring the biomorphic work on view.
