As a textile designer Shah Noor has experimented with a diverse variety of techniques, including drawing, painting, dyeing , batik, screen-printing, weaving, hand and machine embroidery, silk painting, felt-making, patchwork (appliqué), origami etc in order to bring her ideas and thoughts into the visual realm.

Focusing on textures She has been using her techniques and experiments further as a graphic artist to merge her textures with digital art work exploring a new medium to practice her interest.

She experiments with variety of materials and combines her interest in textures, design, sculpture and digital art to design on the idea of indulging in the comforting sight of nature.
